The Delights and Enticements of Costa Rica Yoga Spa

December 30th, 2009

Some of our guests went on the Miss Sky Canopy Tour and had the time of the their lives. They took some great videos to email home to their family and friends. It was their first time on this type of an adventure and were so glad they went as the fun and excitement will surely be a lifetime memory.  Some of the other people they met on the Canopy Tour had been on other zip lines throughout the world but all agreed this was the best they have ever experienced.  It is the longest zip line in the world. They loved the stop at the waterfall and seeing our amazing jungle from the air.

Our master organic gardener (permaculturist), Sebastian, and Darin, an owner at Costa Rica Yoga Spa joined others for some great surfing in the late afternoon at Playa Guiones and then over to Playa Pelada for sunset. It was a night out for the adventurers enjoying sushi and dancing at The Cafe Lounge.  Guests this last week started out with a night out in Nosara at a great local restaurant, Rancho Tico, with excellent typical Tico food and loved the contrast to go the upscale Cafe Lounge for sushi. They also enjoyed a night on the town last week at the Gilded Iguana to hear one of our great local bands play.  Lots of dancing and fun!

Weather is warm, and of course, the temperature of the water in the ocean is perfect – so welcoming! Swimming, body surfing, snorkeling and surfing has been fantastic! Spear fishing – about 3 miles out as the tuna are running is on the agenda for later in the week.  We don’t want to miss this opportunity!

Yoga with Monika is such a good way to get the day started. And, yoga with the monkeys in the trees nearby is quite an experience for most of our guests. There is just nothing like the beauty and nature of Nosara in our beautiful Costa Rica.
