Ben holds down the fort at the Costa Rica Yoga Spa. That includes the whole finca—the Jungle Lodge, the Yoga Rancho, the grounds and gardens, the office, the pool, the well, the whole thing! And, he keeps it well-watered too.
His irrigation system spreads Costa Rica's freshest water from our well down below all the way to the top of the mountain and from there—with a little help from gravity—to all corners of the farm.
Ben's always got a big smile on his face—whether showing the guests a great time or tending the facilities or working on the finca grounds and gardens in the hot sun. If you're lucky, Ben may entertain you with some of his great stories!
In addition to a successful pool installation and maintenance company, Ben also tended to the olive orchard on his and Jill's 10-acre farm in Paso Robles, California. The farm also hosted a bed-and-breakfast (B&B) which Ben also kept well watered.
Ben attended school in Ventura California and was a standout basketball player at Fresno State University from 1967 to 1972. Playing for coach Ed Gregory, he led a a high-scoring Bulldogs team that still dominates the list of FSU's highest scoring games.
